This show allowed the iLevel brands the ability to boost their brands awareness and expand their customer base. Additionally, all received some instant feedback when promoting new products. Many of our vendors found it to be great PR event along with it providing an educating experience. The trade show also allowed our vendors to see some of their competitors and what they do differently; as well as find companies with similar values for future partnership. Most importantly this event let us to get to know each other better and have a fun experience while working together. Since it’s not always possible (or desirable) to walk away from a stressful relationship, explore your options.       <image:caption>While it’d be nice to sleep 7-8 hours, you can make do with 6. We’ve all fallen prey to this type of reasoning. And while it is technically true, it carries a lot of harmful connotations in the long run. An inadequate sleep schedule leads to fatigue build-up in your body. That, in turn, affects how well our bodies can fight off infection after exposure to a virus. It also means a longer recuperation time after infection. Why? Because our body is exhausted, and producing fewer antibodies to fight off infections. Do this, and you’ll never get sick… well, not quite. Obviously, there’s more to building a strong immune system than just fruit and eight hours of sleep. Even the healthiest people do sometimes get sick. And while there’s no bulletproof answer to illness, all of the above elements come together to make the illness less likely or severe.</image:caption>

At that time, they had a few stores they would deliver their hummus to, and this gave us the idea to relaunch Habibi’s as a food production company since we didn’t want to go into another restaurant venture. That was 2008 and we have been going strong ever since! Until this day the customers of Habibi’s restaurant still praise it and have the fondest memories of going there to eat.       <image:caption>To minimize stress levels, organize maintenance tasks with the seasons. In preparation for the next season, make a list of those quarterly, semi-annual and annual upkeep tasks and assign the appropriate season to break up the never ending to do list. Get those carbon monoxide and fire alarm batteries changed at the end of winter and start of fall, and clean or change out air filters as a jump off to spring cleaning. Schedule bike tune ups at the start of spring, get those ice skates sharpened in the fall and clean out the garage and basement every summer. Put seasonally specific clothing and items in storage and donate what you didn’t wear or use to stay minimal and Zen. In winter, try a vitamin D supplement to invigorate the start of your day on those dark mornings and in summer make sure you are loading up on the SPF to protect your skin from uv rays. By creating a seasonal check list for shopping and getting things done, you can keep work loads manageable and less of a chore.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Going to the store every week for fresh groceries can be a chore. It’s no wonder that online grocery shopping has become a growing industry. The ease of browsing at your leisure, getting items in your list ticked off, ordered in half an hour, and quickly delivered is convenient for the fast pace of our society. But does this convenience come at an environmental cost? Here’s the breakdown on how sustainable online grocery shopping is. With more people choosing to get groceries delivered, how does this impact the environment? If done correctly, grocery delivery can actually lower overall carbon emissions. The reason is simple. Instead of everyone individually driving to the store, shopping, and then driving home, a delivery service can deliver to multiple homes in one trip. Though delivery trucks produce more emissions, but just like a bus, this is offset by the number of people serviced. The researchers found that the distance traveled by a delivery vehicle is shorter than the sum of the distances traveled by customers’ cars. In fact, with a strategic planning of a delivery route, it could be a whopping 85% - 95% less.</image:caption>

Finding what motivates us no matter how big or small is such an important element in discovering what brings us happiness and satisfaction. Our time on earth as we know it is limited so why not take a measured approach (principals we learned from science) to finding ways to feel our best. Organizing thoughts and feelings into a list of actionable items creates a clear path to achievement. As the saying goes: What we believe – we can achieve! Visualizing, setting goals and building a roadmap increases our clarity on the things we want and helps us understand ourselves better even when roadblocks come up and change the course of what was thought to be the master plan. By writing down yearly resolutions or goals, you are taking a small step towards that bigger picture. Despite circumstance, in the face of adversity and change, by keeping this routine year after year you will start to see the patterns. Even when you fall off course and stray from the list, you can start to identify blocks, understand the purpose behind the initial goal and learn more about your journey.</image:title>

But this type of delivery does not always be a better choice for sustainability as the personal shopper almost always can be a driver and will pickup and deliver in a personal vehicle. Although, there are delivery drivers who utilize bicycles or on-foot for delivery, but the numbers are much lower than a vehicle delivery driver. Some main examples for these services are Instacart, Uber Eats Grocery, etc.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Meal Kits are a relatively new type of delivery service where the provider only delivers groceries for a certain type of meal with a recipe included, so, the consumer can prepare the meal on their own and doesn’t have to go through the struggle of finding all ingredients for their meal. However, this type of grocery delivery is considered as very inefficient and unsustainable. Though no personal shopper is involved, the packaging is what breaks the deal for most. Many meal kits include a cardboard box for storage but also packaging to preserve all the ingredients, individual packing for different ingredients, linen materials, ice packs, recipe cards and more. Recyclers found "each had more than two dozen different packages, including one with 31 different pieces of packaging." Much of the packaging was also found to be plastic and many weren't recyclable. Another major cause for concern with many meal kits is the ice packs they are delivered with. These are almost always non-recyclable because they contain chemicals which need to be disposed of safely and cannot be reused. Some examples for meal kit services are Hello Fresh, Chef’s Plate etc.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>While the packaging of groceries being delivered to your home can be a problem, there can also be issues with finding a sustainable grocery delivery option that sources groceries in an eco-friendly way. It’s important that recyclable or compostable packaging is used for the individual products themselves, instead of plastic wrapping. While we can go into a store and choose unwrapped produce, there’s not always that option when you order online. More than this, being able to buy fairly traded produce is an important factor in sustainable grocery shopping. The deforestation caused by cocoa farming and palm oil is rampant, and so online delivery is only worth it if the carbon emissions you’re saving aren’t negated by unsustainably sourced groceries. For all the convenience, a trip to the store is better if that’s the case.</image:caption>
